Our network of Fellows works for sustainability all over the European neighbourhood and the world in a wide range of organisations and sectors including government, media, academia, NGOs, business and social enterprise.

What LEAD Fellows say about the training programme

Doug Cook is a LEAD Fellow who participated in the 2010 LEAD Europe Leadership for Sustainable Development programme and joined the global LEAD network in November 2010. Together with 21 participants from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds, Doug completed three training modules in London, Brussels and South Africa over the course of six months.LEAD training aims at developing leadership skills and knowledge for a more sustainable future. LEAD Fellows are highly successful leaders, from all sectors, working on complex local to global environmental and development issues in more than 90 countries of the world.Doug is a Diplomat at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
